Summer Vacation - Steamboat Springs, CO

Masha loved traveling. She made friends with people on the plane, though she mostly slept through the whole plane ride (thank you!!). I was nervous about traveling with a wee one, but once again I was reminded of just how adaptable babies are. On our trip Masha started really crawling (figured out how to coordinate those hands and legs) and started waving hello and goodbye. She did have a pretty good case of separation anxiety while we were gone which made things a little challenging, but overall the trip was great.

Here we are visiting the rodeo bulls and Masha's first time swimming.

Saturday Afternoon Lunch

Notice how she doesn't take her eyes off of the camera . . . .

Scoot, crawl, climb

Masha took her first official crawl steps this week. She is working on coordinating those hands and legs to work together, but once she does, watch out world. This girl is excited to move. She is also pulling herself up onto anything that she can. This week she pulled herself up on top of a large ream of paper in my office and played up there for a bit.

Masha and her Baby

Masha has become quite attached to her "baby" this week. She scoots/crawls with her in hand and is sad when she drops her.

A "kiki" in her mouth

Picnic with Friends

Lucy and Rivyn came to Nana and Papa's to celebrate the fourth.

Happy 4th of July!

On the morning of the 4th we went to a parade and games at Lake Park. Andrew used to attend the same events as a youngster so he was especially excited to show Masha how the 4th is done in Milwaukee .
